Pawel Kot was born in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. He fortunately spent the first seven years of his life away from the big urban jungle, where he was brought up in an idyllic environment, surrounded by nature’s tranquillity and a loving family. His early contact with nature and animals played a major role in his personal development and later interests. Since the days of his youth, Pawel has exhibited a gift of observation and perceptiveness, along with an artistic talent of drawing and painting. The educational process in the realm of art and artistic crafts was endured in his home town of Warsaw under the scrutinising eyes of demanding professors at the College of Art and Craft for gifted children. Later he went on to obtained a higher degree in art teaching. For several years Pawel's paintings regularly appeared at Christies auction house in London. Many years ago Pawel settled in Africa – a world of unspeakable beauty and magnificent scenery. A land of numerous contrasts, filled with wild exotic animals, ancient traditions and fascinating places.

Discussing creative activity, Pawel has always been very passionate about realism. Therefore, whenever possible, he tries to reflect reality by means of brush and paint, creating a three-dimensional effect on the flat surface of his canvass. With great satisfaction he observes their expressions revealed on viewers faces as they take in every detail included in his paintings. Pawel’s intention is not to satisfy diverse tastes, nor to provoke deep reflection on the question -”What exactly does the artist want to say through his work?”. His aim is to simply provide people a chance to stop, notice and realise that actually OUT THERE A FASCINATING WORLD STILL EXISTS, forgotten in our mad rush of selfishness and greed to self destruction. Lifelong deep love for animals, nature and wildlife in general, give Pawel a strong reason to focus on Wildlife Conservation.
There is not much of tomorrow left for the beautiful and amazing creatures of the wild. If we don’t take care of them now - who will?!!!
